Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a condition that leads to choking events during sleep caused by partial collapse of the back of your throat.

It is estimated that over 40 million Americans and 1 billion people worldwide suffer from this condition.  Over 90% will remain undiagnosed through life.

It causes poor quality sleep which ruins your day with excessive sleepiness and fatigue. Snoring can affect your partner.  It affects most organ systems with serious effects in cardiovascular health. People with apnea have a higher incidence of heart attacks and strokes and tend to die younger.

CPAP USER GENERAL QUESTIONS

CPAPs splint your airway open by allowing flow of air that constantly prevents the airway collapse that causes sleep apnea.  They have been used since the mid 80s and remain the most effective therapy for OSA.  They also abolish snoring.

CPAPs are medically necessary devices typically covered by insurance. However, due to copayments and deductibles you may be responsible for significant payments and frustrating delays when dealing with insurance.
USECPAP was created to make sleep apnea evaluation accessible and affordable for all interested in good quality care without health insurance intervention.

If you have a regular hose, increase the humidity in your device or upgrade your hose. If you are using a climate line you may need to change your mask.

If the ambient temperature in your room is lower than the air temperature in the hose, The humidity vapor will condensate in the hose.

Schedule a consultation with our specialist to trouble shoot the situation.

It is simple, pick a day of the week (we recommend Saturday or Sunday) to clean your device. In 1 LT of boiled water add 1 large spoon of white vinegar and dilute, use this solution to clean: The Mask, hose and humidifier.
